Monk Burin offers Dhamma Teaching in Fall Semester at Columbia University.
On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the Columbia University Buddhist Association (CUBA) welcomed Monk Burin and his team from The Middle Way Temple, New York, for a special Dhamma teaching. Around 30 CUBA members gathered in the Choir Room at St. Paul’s Chapel for a serene evening of chanting, meditation, and insightful wisdom.
The evening began with Nadia, the new president of CUBA, introducing Monk Burin. The session included chanting led by three monks from The Middle Way Temple, followed by a 20-minute meditation session.
Monk Burin then delivered an inspiring talk on “The Power of Luminous Mind,” highlighting the transformative effects of meditation on mental clarity and inner peace.
Participants shared feelings of deep calm and were moved by the teachings. Afterward, many stayed to engage in thoughtful discussions with the monks, expressing gratitude and enthusiasm for the event.
