MMF #15 The best gift
On Saturday, December 6, 2025 between 8.30-10.00 AM (New York Local Time), The Middle Way Institute (MWI) organized a global session via zoom to connect all The Middle Way Friends from around the world. There are peace-loving participants from 16 countries attending: USA, UK, Russia, China, Japan, Australia, Switzerland, Portugal, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Singapore, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Thailand.
The program started with a peaceful guided meditation by Monk Burin. After that, there was a request of 5 Caring Ethics (5 Silas) before the Fund Offering. The Offering in December was led by Jessica Teh Li Hoon from Malaysia in Pali and Van Huong Nguyen from Vietnam in English. Subsequently, the monastic community gave a Pali blessing to all patrons and volunteers. Several participants felt uplifted after the offering and blessing from teaching monks.
Furthermore, there was a time for a deeper connection. Nguyen Thi Tuong Van from Vietnam gave an inspiring message in The Middle Way Sharing. Monk Burin delivered a wisdom talk on “The best gift.” Finally, all participants were invited to interact casually in 4 smaller groups of house meeting. It was such a valuable time once a month for The Middle Way Friends to practice Giving, Ethics and Meditation together and exchange our meditation and wisdom experiences.
