If you want real change in your skin, you have to trust what’s happening underneath the surface, not just what you see in the mirror a week later.

Microneedling works because it stimulates your body to produce collagen.

And collagen production is not instant.

It’s a wound-healing cascade that unfolds over several weeks. Your fibroblasts are activated, they begin laying down new collagen and elastin, and that remodeling continues long after your appointment is over.

That’s why this treatment can improve things like:

•fine lines
•deeper etched-in wrinkles
•acne scarring
•overall texture

and even certain types of acne and rosacea when it’s done appropriately and strategically.

✨But we have to give the body consistent stimulation and the time to respond✨

Nothing regenerative is one-and-done...whether it’s microneedling, peels, biostimulators, prp…If you’re willing to play the long game, that’s when the real transformation happens.

Biostimulators like Sculptra treat the root cause of the complaints I hear every single day…jowls, deep smile lines, sagging, that “why do I look tired?” feeling.

We lose about 1% of our collagen every year.

Why does that matter?
Because collagen is the structural support of your skin. When it declines, the foundation weakens. That’s when the hills and valleys show up. The heaviness. The folds. The loss of definition.

Sculptra IS NOT filler. It doesn’t “fill” lines. It stimulates your body to rebuild collagen and elastin which are the things you’re actually missing.

So the improvement is gradual and subtle without the fear of puffiness or an overfilled look.

She’s that goooood. 😏

Not every lip filler appointment is about fixing something. She already had beautiful lips. This one was about refinement.

A little more border definition.

A touch of volume.

Just enough to bring a little extra brightness into her face but without throwing off her natural balance.

The goal isn’t “bigger.” It’s harmony and the end result needs to fit your facial features, not overpower it

And if you can’t immediately tell what changed, that’s kind of the point 🙌🏻

I get it. Skincare can feel like the “extra” in your treatment plan.

But it’s actually the foundation.

If you’re investing in treatments in my chair..,Botox, filler, Sculptra, microneedling, you name it…and you’re not protecting and actively treating your skin at home every single day, your results will always be less than what they could be.

Aging doesn’t stop.
UV damage doesn’t stop.
Environmental stress doesn’t stop.

So what you do daily matters more than what you do a few times a year.

Protect. Correct. And maintain. That’s how you get the most out of your investment.

Every February, it starts again.
The ads. The pressure. The “don’t buy this, buy that instead” posts.

Flowers are a waste.
Chocolate doesn’t last.
She doesn’t want roses, she wants Botox.

And while I understand the sentiment behind it, I want to pause for a moment and say something different.

You won’t find me telling anyone NOT to buy the flowers.

Because self-care doesn’t look the same for everyone.

For some people, it really is fresh flowers on the kitchen counter.
For others, it’s a quiet dinner.
For others, it’s rest.
And yes, sometimes, it’s aesthetics.

The problem isn’t the flowers.
The problem is the pressure to define self-care as one specific thing.

Taking care of yourself isn’t about following a trend or making a statement. It’s about choosing what actually feels good, meaningful, and aligned for YOU, in this season of your life.

For some of my patients, aesthetic treatments are part of that.
Not because they’re trying to look like someone else.
Not because they feel pressured.
But because it helps them feel confident, refreshed, and more like themselves.

And that matters.

If aesthetics is part of how you care for yourself, there’s nothing frivolous about that. There’s nothing shallow about wanting to feel good in your skin. And there’s certainly nothing wrong with choosing something that supports your confidence long-term.

So if you love flowers...get the flowers.
If you love experiences...choose that.
And if self-care for you looks like Botox, skincare, or a thoughtful conversation about your options...I’m here for that too.

No pressure.
No guilt.
Just support for whatever version of care feels right for you.

There’s a lot I don’t care about when you come in. But these things I really do.

Because great aesthetics is more than just technique…it’s awareness, communication and mutual trust.

Sculptra is one of my favorite long-game treatments and honestly, it’s where I’d start for about 99% of my patients.

It’s not filler. It’s a collagen biostimulator that helps your skin rebuild its own support over time. So instead of instant volume, results come on gradually and look really natural.

I prefer to start with Sculptra first, then use filler later only where additional structure or support is needed.

Slow, intentional treatments with a plan always give the best results.

Keep this in mind as you plan long-term.
