Let me explain.

✨Tox takes a full two weeks to kick in. This is exactly why I won’t see you for a dose adjustment before then. Be patient, and then we reassess.

✨Sometimes you come in convinced you need a specific treatment when you actually don’t. My job is to make sure your time and money go toward what will genuinely address your concern—not just what sounds right or what you saw on tik Tok.

✨The most “frozen” you’ll feel is at the 2–4 week mark. After that, tox slowly wears off and movement gradually returns. Having movement at 6 weeks is completely normal. You won’t be frozen solid for 3 months.

✨The only tool we have in the injectable world to address real volume loss is filler. Jawline, cheekbones, jowls—I can’t move the needle on those without at least some of it. That’s just the reality.

✨What’s the difference between TEMU and Louis Vuitton? You already know. The same logic applies here—except it’s your face and there are real medical risks involved. Cheap rarely equals experience, safety, or results.

✨Your face contains an incredibly complex, variable network of arteries, veins, and small vessels. Bruising is never 100% avoidable—I always do my best, but it’s part of the deal sometimes.

If you've tried microneedling and felt like the results were lackluster — it's probably one of these two things.

#1 you didn't do enough treatments. One or two sessions just won't cut it. Your body needs more collagen stimulation than that. Plan for a series of 4 to 6 treatments — sometimes more, depending on the severity and type of scarring you have.

#2: you skipped the growth factors. Adding PRP to your microneedling increases your odds of achieving more than 50% improvement in scars by threefold compared to microneedling alone. That's huge.

Do the full series. Add the PRP. Don't skip the growth factors.

What's the theme of my top 5? Collagen. Yes, tox has it's place to prevent BUT it will not treat the etched in lines because that's a collagen problem. I'm passionate that the focus should be on preserving and producing as much collagen as we can. Collagen loss is a HUGE part of what's happening over time and why we start going, damn, I look tired lol

Invest in a simple, solid daily skincare routine and throw in a couple of powerhouse collagen-boosting treatments like microneedling and biostimulators. And you're set.

If we want respect in our specialty and what what we do to be clearly different than the “beauty industry” then we really need to start acting like it. The carelessness, recklessness and foolishness I see in this specialty is something else and, personally, I find it very difficult to wrap my head around. We would NEVER fathom to behave like this or get away with risky practices in other specialties so why is the standard of care different in aesthetics? Just because the inherent and perceived risk is lower, it doesn’t mean we should practice differently.

I welcome regulation. I welcome accountability. We need more of it.

And before anyone feels too called out—I know plenty of phenomenal providers who say “client.” They practice the way I do. They’ve just landed on different language for reasons I don’t quite understand. It’s really no shade. This is aimed at the broader drift we are seeing, not at them.

If this resonates, share it. If it doesn’t, I’d love to hear why.

And how can I forget ACNE SCARS. 🙌

When I say it does everything, I’m not throwing marketing BS at you—it really does. Microneedling is a low-to-no downtime treatment with major payoff. A series of 3 (or more for acne scars) is recommended to start, and then maintenance is a breeze—just one treatment every 3-6 months. It’s my favorite treatment for a reason!

Book your microneedling at the link in bio. ✨

Tox isn't always the answer. 🚫

If you've been getting tox for your crow's feet and are still seeing those lines extend down your cheek…it's because the wrinkle isn't just from the muscle. It's from collagen loss and volume depletion in the surrounding skin.
Here's the truth: tox relaxes the muscle, but it doesn't address the other structural changes in your skin and cheek fat that are decreasing with time. It just can't.
For lines that travel past the eye and into the upper cheek, the real fix is restoring the foundation:

✨ Microneedling and Sculptra to restore collagen AND/OR
✨ A soft filler to smooth and support the skin
(and obviously if you're not already on a quality retinoid, we need to chat!)

The right treatment depends on why the wrinkle is there in the first place—and that's where a thorough consultation makes all the difference.

If those lines just won't go away, it's time to look at other treatments to address the real problem.

Spent the weekend in Nashville at a vascular occlusion complication management conference—two full days of nothing but VO.

Walking away with small but meaningful tweaks to my injection technique, all in the name of keeping my patients safer while still delivering beautiful results. Bonus: I had the chance to connect with incredible providers from Denver and across the country, and finally met some Instagram friends in real life! Jampacked, exhausting, and so worth it!

Thank you .subbio and for putting on an amazing conference, always pushing the states quo and giving no f’s while doing it.
