The opening reception is Saturday, November 8th, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and everyone is invited. ❤️🎨🖌️ It's a great time to support our talented students. Arundel Lodge, Inc. and Hospice of the Chesapeake are pleased to announce the opening of an ongoing exhibition of 35-40 original works of art created by the artists of the Open Eye Gallery, now on display at the Hospice Chesapeake Life Center located at 90 Ritchie Hwy in Pasadena Maryland. The Open Eye Gallery at Arundel Lodge, located at 2600 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater, Maryland, offers a safe and supportive environment for adults with mental health and substance use disorders to find healing through creativity and self-expression. Hospice of the Chesapeake provides physical, psycho-social and spiritual support services to individuals living with and affected by advanced illness. Come on out tonight to the fabulous Speak Your Truth mental health event at ArtFarm Annapolis starting at 6:00 p.m. There will be speakers, musicians, dancers, artists and poets all talking about their mental health journeys. The students of the Open Eye Gallery at Arundel Lodge had an awesome time recently at the American Visionary Art museum AVAM in Baltimore! Their docents were absolutely wonderful and of course the museum is fabulous.
