Nothing makes me stop and think harder than this…
Seeing so many women who deeply want to conceive
skipping meals, under-fueling, pushing through hunger
…and then wondering why their hormones feel chaotic or their cycle won’t regulate.
We cannot talk about fertility while ignoring the most basic signal your body is reading all day long.
When you skip meals, override hunger, or treat food like something to “fit in if there’s time,” your body doesn’t interpret that as discipline or willpower.
It interprets it as scarcity.
As: resources are limited
As: this is not a safe time to create life
And no amount of supplements, ovulation tracking, or a positive mindset can override that message.
I see this constantly - brilliant, intuitive, self-aware women doing so many of the “right” things…
yet still living in a subtle state of depletion.
Not because they don’t care.
Because they’ve been taught to normalize disconnection from their body.
Here’s the truth most people won’t say plainly enough:
👉 A nourished body ovulates differently.
👉 A fed nervous system sends different hormonal signals.
👉 Safety is not a mindset. It’s a physiological state.
I love the spiritual layers of conception. I honor them deeply.
But your body is biological and intelligent.
And in this human body, regular nourishment is not optional if pregnancy is the goal.
I learned this the long way too… thinking I was “listening to my body” while actually overriding it.
It wasn’t until I slowed down, ate consistently, and rebuilt trust with my system that things truly shifted.
Fertility doesn’t respond to force.
It responds to safety, rhythm, and enough.
If this landed in your body, you’re not wrong for feeling it.
And you’re not broken… your body is communicating.
That’s the work I do.
Fertility didn’t change for the women I work with when they tried harder.
It changed when their bodies finally felt fed, safe, and supported.
