At the St. Elizabeth Hospice facility on South Loop Drive in Edgewood, a group of 20 dedicated volunteers known as the Patio Pals care for the gardens and planted pots that surround the campus. From beginners to master gardeners, each member brings their own experience and heart to the work—many inspired by personal connections to hospice care. 🌷🌿

Twice a year, the group gathers for seasonal workdays filled with gardening, learning and connection. The rest of the time, they tend their assigned spaces independently, helping create a peaceful, welcoming environment for patients, families and visitors. 🌸

St. Elizabeth STARS Program is privileged to serve over 1600 community members each year in their greatest time of need. ⭐🐴 For over 25 years, the STARS Program has provided no-cost bereavement services to the Northern Kentucky community. This includes individual counseling, support groups, educational events and camps. Our STARS Equine Adventure Camp for ages 8-18 offers campers equine and outdoor activities such as horseback riding, hiking, archery and fishing. This camp and all STARS grief services are free, thanks to the generous support of our community. 🩶
