Summer fun is starting to wind down, and with that comes the perfect excuse to get out and enjoy our favorite ice cream shops before they close for the season! We stopped at the Dairy Sweet in Lamont and then took a drive through Backbone such a beautiful view! 🍦🍨⛱️🏞️

Lincolnwood tenants kicked off the morning with a fun game of LRC dice. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a lively round of Bingo with lots of winners. We also had a special visit from Faith and her therapy dog, who impressed everyone with tricks like rolling over, laying down, scouting backwards, shaking hands, and more amazing talents! 🎲 🍭 🐶 🐾

At Lincolnwood Assisted Living, we’re grateful for our activity director, Sidney, and all of our tenants who have lovingly cared for the garden beds on our patio throughout spring and summer. Their hard work has blessed us with plenty of fresh produce, vibrant flowers, and fragrant herbs. 🌿🌻

Lincolnwood tenants pitched in to husk more fresh corn, thanks to a generous tenant family who donated it, everyone will sure enjoyed it! Our Lincolnwood tenants and the residents at Edgewood Convalescent Home also had a great time cooking with Chef Kevin. He treated everyone to delicious flavors, including Hawaiian pizza, BLT wraps, and a refreshing key lime cheesecake. Yum! 🌽 🧑‍🍳
