Christmas with Breathe is our favorite time of year.

This year 4 neighborhoods (less then previous years due to the weather) were visited by Santa, Mrs Claus, their friends and about 50 elves handing out 868 toys, 350 stockings passed out, and about 400 sets of PJs given. (Rough counts, still counting).

What a time it was. Today, we handed out the last of the gifts, stockings and pjs, and just like that...its over. Its a wrap.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are heading back to the North Pole to get things ready for Christmas morning. As the left, they asked that I thank each of you for showing your kindness, your love and your Christmas spirit in giving. For making sure that all those children we encountered, know they are loved and not forgotten. That the moms/dads/grandparents were able to find a little bit of hope and able to "Breathe" even if just for a moment watching their children smile while hugging Frosty, talking with Santa and the Mrs', while playing with Rudolph and Buddy the Elf and being tormented by the Grinch. Lol He wants you to know that you made a true difference this Christmas.

To every Drop Zone location, every organization that collected, every person that hosted a fundraiser, to everyone that provided food for the teams, to Chesapeak Shredding, LLC & Same Day Xpress for providing Santa's sleigh, to every volunteer that put in hours and hours sorting, collecting, wrapping...to every person that donated money...thank you for loving so well this Christmas.

Christmas with Breathe Wrapping Party.....
Almost 400 stockings stuffed, several hundred pairs of pjs prepped and OVER 1550 toys wrapped and ready to go in just 3 hours. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

The elves were busy today. And now....they are resting and getting ready to head out with Santa and his team tomorrow morning.

More updates to come...for now....tucking everyone in bed and saying our prayers that the snow holds off or at least doesnt hinder us. Lots of children to visit tomorrow.

Prayers for the team out on the road tomorrow would be appreciated.

Christmas with Breathe starts NOW!!!

We'll be out today collecting all the boxes from our Drop Zones in the community....but its not too late for you to donate and be a part of this awesome time.

Last year over 1000 children received gifts, stockings and pjs...this year...its going to be the same.

Here are a couple of ways you can help:

1. Today (anytime) or Saturday by 2pm - go grab a pair of PJs, Stockings/Stuffers or Gift and leave it at Breathe 379 or Edgewood Assembly of God Church.
3. No time to shop - that's ok - we'll do the shopping for you!!! Make a donation on Venmo (-Hope) or on our website at www.breathe379.com
4. Want something in return for your donation...or you simply want to hear some good Christmas music.
