Did you know….. Most horses in New Mexico are vitamin E deficient. Levels should fall between 500 to 1000 and most horses in New Mexico below 500 due to lack of grazing. Vitamin E deteriorates rapidly in hay and that is why supplementing is very important. Start with bloodwork with a local vet and use a tocopheryl vitamin e (such as pictured) for best results.
