Welcome our newest team member, Stephanie Brey, LPCC! Stephanie brings a connective and empowering approach to therapy, helping clients gain clarity through curiosity, compassion, and humor. She skillfully blends CBT, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic techniques, and is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for processing distressing memories.

When she's not at work, Steph enjoys dance parties with her kid, gardening (with only some success), and stargazing. She also enjoys singing, acting, and playing piano, which usually only happens in her basement these days, to an audience of stuffed animals.

My approach to therapy is connective and relational, rooted in empowerment and collaboration with the client. Meet Caitlin Steiskal, the latest addition to Slate's team, who believes connection is at the forefront of therapy. Her approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered and strengths-based theories and integrates CBT techniques.
