How COOL is THIS⁉️ Despite their name, the Brewers have designated “sober sections” at every home game for fans with a history of alcohol addiction ❤️❌🍺
They’re labeled as “family seating” — but Sections 217, 308, 309, & 417 don’t allow alcoholic beverages (or abusive language) for fans who don’t want to be surrounded by others drinking (or swearing 😉).
The Packers have a similar program called “Section Yellow” for fans in recovery.
“It’s good to have an oasis in a place where you are surrounded by folks that are having a good time — and sometimes having way too much of a good time,” Section Yellow co-founder Tom Doughman explained. “Just to know that somebody else has your back, and they acknowledge you’re doing something that may not be in the norm, but it is supported.” 🥰
