Dr. Hills holds degrees and licenses in both Chiropractic and Physical Therapy, graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University with honors in 1993, receiving the degree Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). He graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1985 receiving his degree in Physical Therapy (PT), graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Hills has extensive post-graduate training completing residency training in a neurological physical therapy-rehabilitation approach called PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) at the world renowned Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in the San Francisco area. He also received 2 years of post-graduate training through the acclaimed Folsom Physical Therapy Orthopedic Manual Therapy program leading to a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapist (FAAOMPT). Chad Hendrickson, DC, CCSP
Dr. Hendrickson graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Dr. Hendrickson received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Dr. Hendrickson practices the Gonstead technique of Chiropractic. This technique is focused on structural health and on fixing misalignments and fixations or subluxations throughout the spine and the rest of the body. Dr. Hendrickson practices a variety of well-known and unique soft tissue mobilization therapies. Combining the two therapeutic approaches dramatically improves the rehab process and decreases the amount of time you spend on the sidelines, enabling you to get back to your favorite activities as quickly as possible. David Roetman, DC, MS
Dr. Roetman graduated from Northwestern Health and Sciences University with a Bachelors of Science degree while majoring in Human Biology, and followed up by earning his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2017. Dr. Roetman has a relentless passion for restoring health through non-surgical orthopedics and evidence based nutrition. He has a Masters of Science degree for Clinical Nutrition from Northwestern Health and Sciences University. He approaches treatment by using food as medicine in addition to functional and specific rehab movements to restore optimal health for all individuals who are seeking a natural solution without the dependency of drugs or surgery. Dr. Roetman has had extensive training in the Gonstead Methodology approach to chiropractic which emphasizes precision and restoring functional patterns in the body. He believes in empowering patients with the knowledge to required to heal stronger than ever before in addition to preventing more severe health problems down the road. Dr. Roetman is dedicated to living out the same principles he teaches his patients. He has competed in many triathlons in Minnesota, regularly practices olympic lifting in addition to hypertrophy training, and thrives in all conditioning that is evidence based and aimed towards reaching a specific fitness goal. He has very thorough evidence-based workout regiments which he loves to apply to his patients in addition to guidance on replenishment with specific and personalized nutrition. Michele Vincent, DC, Certified Acupuncturist
Dr. Vincent treats many conditions, including headaches, varying degrees of spinal conditions and degenerative disorders in addition to injury related and overuse syndromes and that can create multiple concerns and symptoms that involve the neuromusculoskeletal system. Her many years of experience have allowed her to be very specialized in her care for chronic pain conditions, women’s health and pediatrics, while also offering nutritional recommendations and exercise support activities. With Dr. Vincent’s affinity for teaching, she thoroughly educates her patients so that they not only receive the best treatment and aftercare, but also have the knowledge needed to make informed choices about their health care. In her free time, Dr. Vincent can be found at the North Shore or traveling in Northern Wisconsin with her teenage daughter who is an aspiring professional fisherman. She loves all sports with NFL football being her favorite and making her a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan. It is not surprising to learn that she thoroughly enjoys learning new things and enjoys reading nor is it not surprising that most of her reading material pertains to the art of Chiropractic and best practices in health and wellness care so she can incorporate most current research and ideas into the care she provides her patients. Christopher Lawson, PT, DPT
Dr. Chris Lawson is a physical therapist that joined Institute for Orthopedics and Chiropractic after gaining 4 years of experience at a sports and orthopedics clinic in Columbus, OH that specializes in working with runners and endurance athletes. He recently moved back to Minneapolis to live closer to family. Dr. Lawson obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2019. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology from The College of Saint Scholastica, where he also ran cross country and track. Dr. Lawson has experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic and sports injuries and has specialized skills in manual therapy, integrative dry needling, and running gait analysis. Chris enjoys getting people of all abilities back to the activities they love and giving them the tools to stay injury free. Debbie Jung, MPT
Debbie is a physical therapist that joined the Institute of Orthopedics and Chiropractic with over 30 years of experience at various outpatient orthopedic therapy settings. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Therapy and Master of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 1991 and 1993. She later completed post-graduate training in orthopedic manual therapy through the Kaiser Permanente Residency Program in Castro Valley, CA. She is a physical therapist that is committed to helping each patient optimize their function and return to the activities they love. She has advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy along with specializing in the science of postural restoration. It is a global approach that assesses and restores a patient’s faulty mechanical patterns that lead to the true underlying cause of tissue injury, pain, and loss of function. This is achieved by evaluating the entire body, not just the primary injury. This method focuses on retraining muscles in specific body positions along with utilizing the diaphragm to assist with alignment to restore functions. She is passionate about empowering each patient with self-confidence towards their outlook on their health and well-being and assisting them in becoming the best version of themselves. Curtis Plueger, DC
Dr. Curtis Plueger is a dedicated Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) who graduated Cum Laude with an emphasis in sports injuries and rehabilitation from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2024. Prior to his chiropractic career, Dr. Plueger served with distinction as a flight medic in the military for 10 years. Originally from a small town in Iowa, he brings a strong sense of community and dedication to chiropractic care. Dr. Plueger is passionate about providing integrated care as a chiropractic provider for patients of all ages. His practice focuses on non-surgical orthopedics, integrating advanced chiropractic techniques with personalized rehabilitation plans to help patients achieve optimal recovery and performance. Jaclyn Heck, PTA
Graduated in 2020 from Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN from the Physical Therapist Assistant program. She previously spent 6 years as a FitCoach helping members gain strength and confidence in and outside of the gym. Jaclyn uses her knowledge of strength training and manual therapy techniques to help improve patients functional abilities in their everyday life. Samantha Martin, PTA
Samantha is a Physical Therapist Assistant with over 10 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, treating a wide variety of patients and injuries. She graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Anoka Ramsey in 2013, along with an Associate of Science degree in Integrative Health & Healing. Previous to that, Samantha studied at the University of Minnesota where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. She danced professionally in multiple styles for over a decade, and continued to build upon her passion for movement by both teaching and obtaining certifications in Yoga and Pilates. Samantha is now expanding her clinical expertise by working towards certification as a Myofunctional Therapist, specializing in orofacial disorders.
