It is time for a very special Employee Spotlight! This is Nicole Schmitz, the heart and soul of Red Balloon Urgent Care. Nicole has been a pediatric nurse practitioner for 21 years. Four years ago she was inspired to start her own business and began planning. On June 3rd, 2024, she opened the doors of this pediatric urgent care. Nicole says that she wanted to create Red Balloon as an option for kids to receive high quality care, with minimal wait times and open after hours, for a more convenient option for busy families.

The staff at Red Balloon describe Nicole as thoughtful, kind, wise and fearless. Red Balloon Urgent Care is here because Nicole had a vision to help her community and create something that catered to the needs of families. From the hours we are open, to how we operate, centering the patient and family has always been at the heart of the Red Balloon mindset. We hope that you and your family feel cared for, respected, and valued when you walk in our doors.
