The past month has felt heavy here in the Twin Cities, and honestly, across the country.

You can feel it.

We are all carrying more (stress/fear/anxiety) than usual.

Today my barber told me he has been having trouble sleeping. I am hearing similar things everywhere. Businesses are closing. Some people are scared. Others are leaning into community and support.

A lot of us are on edge, not knowing what comes next.

I am not outside of that. I have my own challenges and concerns, and I am doing what I can to support the communities most affected.

I also have tools that help people work with stress, anxiety, and the mental load that builds up in day to day life. These are tools I guide people through every week inside what I call the Clearance Club. It is a group space to reset your nervous system, clear the mental clutter, and come back to a steadier place inside yourself.

For the next month, I am opening this up for free to anyone who wants support.

The link is in the comments. Use the code: CLEARANCE

If things have felt like a lot lately, you don't have to carry it alone.

Stay safe out there. You are resilient, you are resourceful, and we will get through this together.

Everyone else is telling you to try harder. But your brain doesn’t work that way.

It looks for what repeats and turns it into autopilot.

Thoughts. Habits. Emotional reactions.

Once a pattern is familiar, your brain runs it to save energy.

It doesn’t ask if the pattern helps you. It asks if it’s known.

That’s why stress responses stick. That’s why procrastination doesn’t respond to pressure. That’s why forcing change feels exhausting.

Patterns aren’t permanent. They’re learned.

And the same mind that learned them knows how to update them.

Change gets easier when you stop fighting the machine and start understanding how it works.

That reaction you have. That habit you repeat. That stress response that shows up before you can stop it.

It’s not a lack of discipline. It’s not because you’re not trying hard enough.

Your brain learned patterns to save energy. Once something is familiar, it runs without asking.

That’s why knowing what to do isn’t enough. And why willpower feels exhausting.

But here’s the part most people miss.

If a pattern can run automatically, it can also change automatically.

The same mind that learned it knows how to update it.

Change doesn’t start with forcing yourself.

It starts with understanding what’s already running.

Here's why pushing harder doesn't work.

01/02/2026

The problem isn't that you have a lack of control, the problem is that your brain is on autopilot.

Most people won't admit this because it makes them feel uncomfortable.

You react faster than you can think.

That stress response.

That automatic habit.

That familiar loop you keep falling into.

It’s not a lack of discipline.

It’s not because you’re doing it wrong.

Most of what you do runs unconsciously.

And here’s the part most people miss.

If a pattern was learned unconsciously, it doesn’t need force to change.

The same part of your mind that learned it also knows how to update it.

Change doesn’t start with trying harder.

It starts with understanding how your mind actually works.

Over the past year I've seen my network grow.

Which means some of you have no idea who I am or what I actually do.

Fair enough.

Here's the short version:

I'm a hypnotherapist who helps professionals stop getting in their own way. They know what they're capable of, but something keeps happening.

Your mind goes blank when you start speaking. You avoid the call you need to make. You perfect and procrastinate instead of shipping your work.

That's not a character flaw.

That's your nervous system running old programs.

I help you rewrite them.

Not through more therapy sessions where you talk about your childhood. Not through meditation apps that help for an hour then wear off.

Through hypnosis and neuroscience that shifts the unconscious patterns driving your reactions.

My background?

I spent 10 years performing as a fire eater and escape artist. Built a business from scratch. Rebuilt my entire life after realizing I'd made choices by not making any at all.

Now I help people like you do the same.

Lawyers who freeze before presentations. Entrepreneurs who sabotage their own success. Executives who can't get on a plane without spiraling.

We work together for a couple months. You walk away with new neural pathways and a toolbox of techniques you'll use for life.

Simple. Direct. Effective.

That's what I do.

If you're tired of knowing what you should do but not being able to follow through, let's talk.

Drop a 👋 below if we haven't officially met yet.

Two months ago, Chava and I did our first round of IVF.

We picked a world class clinic in Barbados. Beautiful place. But if you’ve never been part of IVF, it’s a lot.

For two weeks before the retrieval, she had to inject herself with hormones. Every day. Hard on the body. Hard on the emotions. She pushed through it, because she’s strong, but it was tough.

Then came the travel.

She flew out a day early. I came after. And from the moment I landed, I felt off. Disconnected. Not fully with her. I kept trying to get there, but I couldn’t seem to meet her where she was.

The whole trip felt heavy. We weren’t in sync. And the outcome… was not what we hoped for.

So we tried again.

And this time, I made a different choice.

On day one, when I saw her struggling with the injections, I told her I’d take that on. I arranged a place for us to stay. A quiet Airbnb close to the beach. We traveled together. Side by side. Present.

And everything shifted.

Even with the stress, it felt calmer. We walked along the water. We watched the full moon over the ocean. We laughed. We supported each other. We felt like a team again.

And it all started the moment I decided to show up fully.

We don’t know the final results yet (there’s a lot of waiting in IVF) but things already look better than before.

What I’m learning is this:

So much changes when you choose to be here. Actually here.

In your body. With your partner. With yourself.

Presence changes outcomes.

When was the moment you realized you weren’t fully showing up in an important part of your life… and what changed when you finally did?

Your Next Level isn't something you do or have, it's a way of being that you embody.

If you struggle with conflict, I have good news for you.

I used to avoid hard conversations. Like, really avoid them.

I'd ignore it. I'd try to wait it out. I'd try to convince myself that everything was ok.

It's not that I didn't know what I wanted or what to do. I just couldn't trust myself to handle the moment.

When I finally learned how the nervous system works, it changed everything.

Those conversations are still sometimes hard, but you're a much better leader when you're not fighting yourself.
