🐾 International Animal Rights Day 🐾

Today, we recognize the importance of compassion, respect, and protection for all animals.
Honoring animal rights also reflects our values of empathy and care, principles that support emotional well-being and healthier communities.

At the Psychology Clinic, we believe that kindness toward animals helps foster empathy, responsibility, and positive mental health in individuals and families.

Today is International Animal Rights Day.
A reminder that all animals deserve respect, compassion, and protection.
Let’s raise awareness, promote humane treatment, and be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Small actions matter, choose kindness. 🐾💙

💙 Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) Awareness

Seasonal changes don’t just affect the weather—they can affect our mental health too. During fall and winter, reduced sunlight can impact mood, energy levels, sleep, and motivation. This experience is known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

If you’ve been feeling more tired, unmotivated, or emotionally low during this season, your feelings are valid—and help is available.

✨ At the UTRGV Psychology Clinic, we’re here to support your mental and emotional well-being through every season. You don’t have to face this alone.

🌿 Your mental health matters all year long.

🧡 You are not alone.
