Today, Violet Olvera turns one.

Instead of celebrating this milestone at home, Violet is spending her birthday in the hospital—waiting for a second chance at life.

Born prematurely and diagnosed with a rare liver disease, Violet has already survived more than most do in a lifetime. Despite surgeries and months in the hospital, her liver continues to decline. Now officially listed for transplant, her future depends on finding a living donor willing to give her the opportunity to grow up.

For Violet, the greatest gift would be helping to share her story. Every share brings her closer to the hero she desperately needs.

The Law Office of Charles Raadt would like to introduce one of our fall interns, Samuel Hernandez Howard! Samuel is currently attending UTRGV and pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor on Political Science. After he graduates, he intends on going to law school and becoming a lawyer as well. While he wants to explore the corporate side of law, he does want to first experience the family, juvenile and immigration areas of law. Welcome Samuel!!
