Thanks to everyone who participated in today’s Walk and Talk With A Doc! Our goal was to help raise awareness and increase general community education regarding the importance of colon cancer PREVENTION through a variety of screening techniques.

As a proud valley native, I’ve been humbled and honored to be a part of the immense growth that the medical community has undergone in recent years. More importantly, this growth has led to increased accessibility to a once severely underserved area. We now have primary care physicians, specialists and subspecialists that rival that of any region in Texas. My subspecialty is gastroenterology, seeing patients in Harlingen, TX and Brownsville, TX with the Gastroenterology Consultants of South Texas (GCST). I am trained in performing a variety of procedures including but not limited to EGD, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP. My goal is to continue to increase my visibility and role in the medical services provided here in the valley. I have created this page in an effort to become more accessible and visible not only to patients, but also to potential partners in medical care. This page will also serve to provide medical opinions, articles, and news related to gastroenterology. While this does not serve as a replacement for a full medical evaluation in my clinic, I would be happy to answer and field any general questions you may have regarding my practice or regarding a general medical condition.
