Pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) can be a significant hurdle for independent pharmacies like Apple Pharmacy. By imposing high fees and negotiating low reimbursement rates, they made it impossible for us to sustain our business. This anti-competitive practice forces many independent pharmacies to close, robbing communities of personalized care and service.

If you value the personal service and attention that independent pharmacies provide, advocate for fair practices by contacting your elected officials about the need for regulation of PBMs!

Stay informed on key pharmacy legislation and take action to support independent pharmacies. Join NCPA's advocacy efforts and protect your practice today.
