Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OTR) – $48.00/Hour
Bumblebee Therapy is a dedicated occupational and speech therapy facility focused on providing high-quality rehabilitative care for pediatric and adult patients. As we relaunch and expand our services, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our team and help our patients regain independence and improve their daily lives.
Position Overview:
As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OTR), you will assess, plan, and implement customized treatment plans for patients to develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living. This role involves working closely with patients, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality therapy services are delivered in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess patients to determine therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide occupational therapy interventions that improve functional abilities and daily living skills.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and clinic policies.
Collaborate with physicians, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques to enhance progress outside of sessions.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing education to stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy.
Ensure compliance with QUADA accreditation and all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
-Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
-Licensure: Must hold a current and active Texas Occupational Therapist (OTR) license.
-Experience: Preferably 1+ years in a clinical, rehabilitation, or outpatient setting (New graduates are welcome to apply).
-Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required. NBCOT certification preferred.
-Skills: Strong communication, patient engagement, and teamwork abilities.
