After completion of his medical degree, he moved to Brooklyn, New York where he completed three years of surgical residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at New York Methodist Hospital. His residency focused on medicine and surgery of the foot and ankle, with emphasis on diabetic limb salvage techniques, reconstructive surgery, and a heavy focus on neural micro-surgical repair. In addition, he is well trained in minimally invasive techniques.
