We are so grateful to Prof. Eli Sprecher and Dr. Oren Tene for their leadership and compassion in guiding a conversation about trauma, recovery, and healing in Israel today. איכילוב - המרכז הרפואי ת״א

Above all, we want to thank Or Levy from the bottom of our hearts.

Or shared his story with extraordinary honesty, speaking about returning from captivity, learning again how to live in freedom, and what it means for him today to be a father while rebuilding his life here in Israel. His courage, strength, and humility touched everyone in the room.

Moments like these remind us why long-term trauma care matters, and why healing must remain a national priority 💙🤍

This morning, leadership and medical teams conducted a large scale emergency simulation modeling a powerful earthquake scenario.

The exercise tested the hospital’s ability to manage mass casualty intake alongside structural damage, system disruptions, and decision making under uncertainty. Teams practiced activating emergency command operations, transitioning care to outdoor spaces, and maintaining continuity of treatment even during communication failures.

The drill was conducted in close coordination with MDA, Fire and Rescue Services, Israel Police, Home Front Command, the Ministry of Health, and the Tel Aviv Municipality, strengthening real time collaboration across all emergency responders.

Preparedness saves lives. We are proud to support a medical center that plans, trains, and leads with responsibility and foresight.

🕯️ Yesterday we were honored to take part in a profoundly moving ceremony at איכילוב - המרכז הרפואי ת״א.

💓 Thanks to the generous donation of Liora Ofer, we inaugurated a newly renovated children’s waiting room and play area in the Radiation Institute. This special space was created in memory of the 12 children from Majdal Shams whose young lives were so tragically cut short by a rocket attack in July 2024.

👏 The donation enables us not only to upgrade the physical space but to transform the experience of children and families undergoing treatment. What was once a place of anxiety and long waits will now be a welcoming environment filled with color, comfort, and play. It is both a memorial and a gift of healing for countless children who will pass through these doors.

We are proud to share that @איכילוב - המרכז הרפואי ת״א Ichilov – Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center – has launched the first clinic of its kind in Israel for limb amputees.

This groundbreaking clinic provides holistic care under one roof, bringing together orthopedic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, plastic surgeons, pain experts, and prosthetics professionals from Israel and abroad.

Already, dozens of soldiers, police officers, and athletes are receiving care here, from advanced surgeries to rehabilitation and pain management – helping them regain mobility, independence, and dignity.

💙 A remarkable step forward in trauma care and rehabilitation.
