On this September 11, we join in remembering the thousands of lives taken 24 years ago. We honor the families who carry the loss each day, the bravery of those who rushed to save others, and the spirit of unity that emerged from tragedy.

🕯️ Yesterday we were honored to take part in a profoundly moving ceremony at איכילוב - המרכז הרפואי ת״א.

💓 Thanks to the generous donation of Liora Ofer, we inaugurated a newly renovated children’s waiting room and play area in the Radiation Institute. This special space was created in memory of the 12 children from Majdal Shams whose young lives were so tragically cut short by a rocket attack in July 2024.

👏 The donation enables us not only to upgrade the physical space but to transform the experience of children and families undergoing treatment. What was once a place of anxiety and long waits will now be a welcoming environment filled with color, comfort, and play. It is both a memorial and a gift of healing for countless children who will pass through these doors.

We are proud to share that @איכילוב - המרכז הרפואי ת״א Ichilov – Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center – has launched the first clinic of its kind in Israel for limb amputees.

This groundbreaking clinic provides holistic care under one roof, bringing together orthopedic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, plastic surgeons, pain experts, and prosthetics professionals from Israel and abroad.

Already, dozens of soldiers, police officers, and athletes are receiving care here, from advanced surgeries to rehabilitation and pain management – helping them regain mobility, independence, and dignity.

Ichilov איכילוב - המרכז הרפואי ת״א has officially switched to clean natural gas, becoming the first hospital in Israel to operate a trigeneration energy station. This advanced system generates electricity, heating, and cooling on-site, delivering major cost savings, reducing air pollution, and enhancing energy resilience.

This bold step is part of a nationwide clean energy initiative, and we’re proud that Ichilov is leading the way. Special thanks to the Patrick and Lina Drahi Foundation and our global community of friends and supporters who made this achievement possible.

📍 We are so proud to share that last night was the Grand Opening of OGEN – Israel’s first national LGBTQ+ health and wellness center, created through the joint vision of עיריית תל-אביב-יפו and איכילוב - המרכז הרפואי ת״א.

OGEN is more than a clinic, it’s a safe space offering medical care, emotional support, welfare services, and rights-based assistance, all in one inclusive and respectful environment.

As Dr. Roy Zucker shared: "OGEN is not just a center. It’s a vision - a place where no one walks in and feels unseen."

Friends of TASMC has been assisting in a fundraising initiative for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) - often described as an atypical variant of Parkinson's.
Launched in memory of neurologist Professor Nir Giladi of איכילוב - המרכז הרפואי ת״א, this initiative will establish Israel's first PSP patient registry for clinical trials and create vital support resources for patients and caregivers.

⚡ For more than a year and a half, the State of Israel has been facing an ongoing and relentless security crisis. Throughout this entire period, the Tel Aviv Medical Center (Ichilov) has stood at the forefront - as Israel’s first medical line of defense.

🩺 Since the October 7th attack and until this very moment, we have been treating wounded soldiers and civilians from the front lines, supporting returning hostages and their families, and continuing to provide life-saving care under all of these challenging conditions.

🚨 In the past week, with the outbreak of the conflict with Iran, a new emergency situation has emerged. Victims of missile attacks are arriving at our hospital daily, and we are prepared for them. We are ready for every scenario.

🤝 Now, as the home front becomes the front line — we need you. We are here always — in times of routine and emergency — for all the people of Israel.
