When I think back to the times I felt most burnt out, I remember walking through my house feeling like everything was too loud, even the silence. The thoughts in my head felt like screams.

It took me a long time to realize that stepping away for a moment isn't giving upโ€”it's catching your breath. We aren't built to keep going and going like the energizer bunny. We need rest. Rest for our minds, rest for our body, rest so that we can perform at our best.

Today, maybe just notice how you feel when you take ten minutes to sit with a cup of tea and let yourself be. It's okay to slow down. Give yourself a pep talk, then get back up and keep moving. You've got this

I want to take a moment to introduce myself and welcome you to my page. Iโ€™m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), and this space exists because I believe mental health deserves to be understood โ€” not rushed, minimized, or separated from the rest of a personโ€™s life.

My work is grounded in the idea that ๐˜๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ ๐˜ช๐˜ด ๐˜”๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ญ. What happens in the mind shows up in the body, in our habits, in our relationships, and in how we move through the world.

Mental health isnโ€™t a side piece of care โ€” itโ€™s central to overall wellbeing.
