Swift Physical Therapy

Swift Physical Therapy swiftwellnessok.com Season has been trained in Manual Therapy techniques for over 17 years. Each person is unique and responds differently to treatment.

She performs a comprehensive examination of the musculoskeletal system (muscles, joints and fascia [connective tissue]) to see how the body is working as a whole. Injury, disease and/or surgical intervention affecting one part of the body can directly or indirectly affect another part. She looks at the body as a whole unit and works on compensations we have from past injuries, surgeries, etc. She looks to treat the source of the issue; not patching the issue and waiting for it to arise again. The body is capable of compensating for long periods of times without symptoms. Problems begin when the body can no longer compensate and function efficiently. Season will screen your spine from base of head to sacrum to check for the area of greatest restriction. This will help her identify the key area that needs to be treated first. She uses gentle techniques to help your body re-align, such as muscular contractions and muscle balancing. After she adjusts that area, she’ll screen you again until all areas exhibit increased movement (no more hitch in your get-along). Some soreness may occur as the body adapts to the changes and increases mobility of the tissues. Additionally, this soreness may also be a result of increased circulation resulting in a detoxification process. Regardless of the result of the soreness, the discomfort usually resolves within 48 - 72 hours. Drinking plenty of water helps to decrease the soreness. In our experience, most patients receive a 50 - 70% improvement in at least some of their symptoms within 6 visits. We have found that initially a treatment frequency of once every 2 - 3 weeks is most beneficial, and then as the symptoms decrease, the frequency of visits also decreases. Usually the client notices changes in flexibility and/or symptoms within the first 1 - 2 treatments. Duration of relief will normally increase as the number of tight areas decrease. Remember every client's treatment will be individualized to meet specific needs in response to treatment. Manual Therapy can be used for prevention and wellness. When restrictions are removed from muscles and joints, it allows the body to function at a higher level. Then, more energy is freed up to respond to the environment and be used for work, play, and recreation. This gift of prevention can enhance sports performance, decrease degenerative changes, and optimize health potential. Wellness and prevention is not covered by insurance and is not related to injury or ailments. This care does not require a prescription.

Cupping is powerful. Add dynamic decompression with movement and it becomes next-level.
Notice how tissue tension increases once movement begins. By layering movement patterns into cupping, we create a deeper release—improving fluid exchange, addressing deeper restrictions, breaking up adhesions, decreasing pain, and immediately improving range of motion 👏🏽

And, you don't need 749 cups at a time😉

Not all cranial work is the same.
All three involve the head, but they work on different systems and at different depths.

Cranial osteopathy works on the cranial bones, fascia, fluid system, musculoskeletal system, dura, brain, spinal cord - despite the name, it's a whole-body approach!

At Swift Physical Therapy, we practice cranial osteopathy because symptoms can be complex, recurring, or not responding to traditional care.
We help your body respond, adapt & heal💜

What a gift to stand in on a miraculously healing frenuloplasty with and .myo

On observation, you can see the incredible fascial adhesions on the left side of her neck. Although the angle is different, you can see the immediate changes in her fascia and range of motion after. This tightness affected her jaw and swallowing, caused cranial tension, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, diaphragm pain and spasms + back tension that traveled to her hips and all the way down to her feet!
During her release we were able to take breaks to assess and release cranial patterns, rib and diaphragm restrictions and cervical restrictions.

Dr Hansen was a genius during the procedure and Monica did a fantastic job preparing her!
We've spent a solid year+ addressing her entire system with manual therapy as she went through palate expansion to prepare for this day!
Congrats to our patient! 💜

Her beautiful testimony is 2 days post frenuloplasty and these results are mind blowing 🤯
