Psychological Services for Families, PLLC is organized and initiated by Mr. He also has earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). PSF is a service oriented agency focusing on clients/consumers’ needs. We emphasize on improving their mental health by strengthening their ability to make healthier choices as well as to reduce the patterns of unhealthy behavioral patterns/habits. These unhealthy patterns can increase their struggle in relationships, mood disorders, behavioral choices, learning abilities, etc. We will assess, treat and encourage self reliance. Clients’ needs are incorporated in the treatment as guided by our clinical staff. We believe that people are capable to change which can be facilitated effectively by professional staff who possess the training and skills in the journey of recovery. Based on the assessment, unhealthy behavioral patterns or past traumatic history may be identified to diminish its power over the current existing symptoms. We strive to work toward a cultural sensitive approach to show respect to the diversity of each culture. Psychological Services for Families, PLLC is a behavioral health counseling office offering counseling and psychological guidance to children, adolescents, parents, married couples and families in the Central Oklahoma area (Oklahoma City and Edmond). Our clinical staff have many years of experience and are committed to promoting overall behavioral and emotional health for those who are open to enhance their lives. Our office is active into raising the next generation of counselors. There are supervisors on staff to oversee those who are preparing for their licenses to become counselors. Additionally, we also devote into teaching graduate students who are working towards their master's degree in counseling or psychology. We are dedicated to guide the next generation of counselors in the journey of providing ethical and quality behavioral and psychological services. Psychological Services for Families, PLLC offers services to individuals in the office, home, school and possibly daycare as deemed appropriate for the clients. Our Story

History:

Psychological Services for Families, PLLC was initiated by Mr. Jeff Lloyd who decided that it was time to combine his expertise with his wife, Dr. Gloria So-Lloyd’s professional experience in behavioral health/psychology/counseling. PSF is a service oriented counseling clinic focusing on clients/consumers’ needs to cover the entire family. Our counseling office targets at improving the mental health of our clients by strengthening their ability to make healthier choices as well as to reduce the patterns of unhealthy behavioral patterns/habits. The purpose of this joined effort is to expand our impact in the community of OKC/Edmond in order to establish an encouraging and positive presence in improving the psychological health of our neighborhood. Mr. Lloyd has earned two graduate degrees. One is in Counseling at Oral Roberts University; his second masters is in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Central Oklahoma. With more than 12 years of working with patients in the residential treatment setting, Mr. Lloyd is confident and humble to be able to use his expertise in reaching more individuals. Dr. So-Lloyd has earned her doctoral level license in Counseling Psychology after years of professional experience in various fields. Meaning of our logo: Dr. So-Lloyd designed the company logo by integrating the Chinese character (family) and the shape of a heart. (see our website at psf-ok.com). There are two parts of this logo - FAMILY and LOVE. Families are families because of love. Meanwhile, the meaning of psychology implies the study of the heart. This blending of two meanings is just perfect for our office.
