People often assume I’m a midwife because I love babies. And I do love me some babies. But, I rarely get to hold babies. So, postpartum visits are sacred to me because I might get to snuggle a wee one for a few minutes while I’m assessing them. Today, we had a not so wee one who was almost 17 pounds at 9 weeks old. This cherub was agreeable to being weighed and measured and I wanted to snuggle him for ages. 🤩✨💜
