At Ministries of Jesus we are seeing fear in more of our patients due to everything happening surrounding immigration. More of them are verbalizing their fears - and some are afraid to come to appointments. Other clinics and even hospitals nationwide are reporting the same thing. Please pray for our patients as they face challenges and fears daily and that they would still come to MOJ to get the physical, emotional, and spiritual help they need. 🙏✝

MOJ has partnered with the Latino Community Development Agency to host a free 8-week program for our patients designed to equip participants with practical tools for healthier living. This weekly gathering will focus on nutrition, movement, and sustainable lifestyle habits that promote long-term wellness. By creating spaces where education, encouragement, and connection flourish, we are able to walk alongside our patients and promote body-mind-spirit health in practical ways that affect daily life. ❤😀🙌

Three clients in the last month came for Social Services with unique needs. Yet they all had one thing in common - the need to be seen and heard. Often, many who come to Ministries of Jesus do not have family or social support to rely on and they walk through life hurting, feeling lonely, and not seen.

One of these clients opened up wanting to share some weight she was carrying. Rita kindly listened, encouraged her, and prayed. As the client left, she said quietly, "Thank you for listening without judgement." Sometimes it's the small things we can do to love others that make the biggest impression. A little kindness goes a long way.🙂❤

Recently, a young woman sat in the lobby at Ministries of Jesus waiting for her appointment. She picked up a Spanish Bible from the table and began reading. A nurse called her name, twice. The receptionist called her name from the front desk. She remained unmoved.

She was so captivated by what she had discovered that she didn’t even realize they were calling her. When she finally looked up, she asked, “Can I take this Bible with me?” Of course, the answer was yes!! Her face lit up with joy as she left hugging God’s Word! ✝✝

Moments like this remind us that at Ministries of Jesus, people come for medical care—but they also encounter the life-changing Truth. Caring for body, mind, and spirit. The power of Scripture is still at work! 🙌❤

Within a year, an MOJ patient was diagnosed with cancer - which resulted in job loss, and he lost several family members. We never know what people are carrying until we take time to listen. At MOJ, this space is purposefully created, and it is infused with the love of God and prayer. Grateful to be able to share encouragement and point those who are hurting to our Heavenly Father. 🙌❤

We had ANOTHER new couple at MOJ this month who are practicing Muslims. During the intake there was a good conversation about the similarities and differences between what they believe and what the Bible teaches. After, they asked for an English Bible from the bookshelf. They said, "we like to learn." And we pray and know God will teach them. 🙌 Regardless of their beliefs, they will be given the best care and shown the love of Jesus every time they come for appointments. ❤
