Too many young athletes focus on training harder but forget one of the simplest game-changers: hydration.
When youth athletes donβt drink enough water, they risk:
β‘οΈ Slower reaction times
β‘οΈ Increased fatigue
β‘οΈ Higher risk of cramps & injury
β‘οΈ Decreased focus & performance
π Proper hydration keeps muscles firing, joints moving smoothly, and the brain sharp during competition.
π Performance Tip: A good rule of thumb is half your body weight (lbs) in ounces of water daily β and even more on practice and game days.
