I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist; for those who are interested in a mindful approach to changing behaviors, I provide a relaxing, calm environment in which I direct the individual through progressive relaxation and soothing visual scenarios. Hypnosis can help overcome Depression, Anxiety, Grief, low Self-Esteem, and improve confidence. I have worked in the mental health field for 10+ years and have training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Balancing Stress and Anxiety. Additionally, I am a certified School Counselor who is able to provide insight to school-based needs and provide services to school-age children.

It is with gratitude and compassion that I have joined a team of clinicians that are passionate about trauma and substance abuse recovery for Veterans and Active Military.

Many people are not well informed or versed in PTSD and someone displaying symptoms of PTSD can be stressful for both the person who has the need to recover and those that are present and supportive.

There are not many hospitals that provide direct treatment for military vets and personnel and first responders.
First Dawn Recovery is dedicated to helping veterans and military personnel and first responders process their trauma and implement their recovery from one day to another.
First Dawn Recovery is a committed ,compassionate, private hospital for Out Patient and Partial Hospitalization for those in trauma and substance abuse recovery needs situations.

We all have our strengths and struggles. Sometimes we wonder if we will be able to overcome them.
Administrative work is not my favorite and my adhd brain does anything to avoid it.

A good ol dose of yummy coffee should set me straight for a few hours.

Sometimes we gotta do what we don’t feel like -doing like what seems like too much.

Juggling roles is a challenging task, it definitely requires plenty of self discipline and self awareness.

I find my days work best if I start with grateful prayers and meditation, journaling and brain mapping my day, I want to incorporate 30 mins of exercise however that’s a skill I’m still working towards.

Some days I don’t feel like doing much because it all seems insurmountable at times, however the reward comes in the self discipline, consistency and motivation of achieving steps towards determined goal.

I learned a tool that might be helpful for you- it’s the inverted pyramid of goal setting. I’ll show you:
