Caleb Scoville MS, LPC, PLLC

Caleb Scoville MS, LPC, PLLC I work to improve people’s quality of life by strengthening their coping skills, ability to make healthy life choices and decreasing unhealthy behaviors.

As a counselor, I have worked with many individuals with diverse needs. I know I am only one of many choices in therapists. However, I am distinct in the type of emotional support I can provide. I am a 22-year survivor of a malignant brain tumor and a 10-year survivor of a benign brain tumor. To my knowledge, I am the only licensed professional counselor (LPC) and survivor providing mental health services to the oncology population as well as the general public in the OKC/ Edmond area. According to an Institute of Medicine report “Cancer Care for the Whole Patient”, “Psychosocial care improves a cancer patients health related outcome.” As a LPC I will work with you and support you as you move forward with your life in a positive direction. No matter what your concern may be, I will work with you and encourage you to persevere through any obstacles by focusing on your strengths and helping your improve your relationships. I currently see clients at Transforming Life Counseling Center. for more information please visit TLCCOK.com

Regardless of our childhood history, it’s never too late. We can Repair.

With a growing understanding of the Circle of Security, we can identify where we struggle with particular needs on the Circle, and then work to find caring ways to meet those needs. The same is true for our children. When parents change the way they respond to their child’s needs for care and confidence, a struggling parent/child relationship can be transformed.

It’s never too late.

🧠 Your Brain and Your Ears Are More Connected Than You Think! 🦻

Did you know hearing loss is one of the biggest modifiable risk factors for dementia? Research in JAMA Otolaryngology and The Archives of Neurology show that:

🔹 Mild hearing loss doubles dementia risk.
🔹 Moderate loss makes it 3 times more likely.
🔹 Severe hearing loss increases the risk 5 times!

Why? Untreated hearing loss increases cognitive load, leads to social isolation, and even causes brain shrinkage in areas linked to memory and sound processing. The good news? Hearing aids and early intervention may help slow cognitive decline!

Stay proactive—take care of your hearing health! 🎧💙
