As a new graduate from Physician Assistant school, Megan had her heart set on finding a job where her colleagues were kind, and training was extensive. It was Trevor Maxwell, another OAC provider, who first introduced her to Dr. Carson. In her eyes, Dr. Carson's approach exemplifies her values—loving on people and ensuring their needs are met. Connie's passion for helping others feel better has always motivated her career path. She has consistently looked for opportunities that have allowed her to grow and challenge herself.
Connie entered healthcare in high school, while training as a Nurse Aide. Connie advanced her career as a License Practical Nurse, then earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and eventually completed her Nurse Practitioner degree. She was presented with an opportunity to join the pediatric rheumatology department at OU Medical Center and embraced the chance to delve into a new realm of medicine. Connie found herself invigorated by the challenges that awaited her while treating patients. Each experience has shaped her into the dedicated healthcare professional she is today, driven by a relentless desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.

Dr. Robinson's journey in medicine was shaped by his own family's experiences with rheumatoid arthritis. Growing up, he saw firsthand the impact of autoimmune diseases, especially through his mother, who was a patient of Dr. Carson. Now, almost three years into his own practice, and Dr. Carson as his mentor, he carries the weight of his personal experiences with him. He is dedicated to providing compassionate care and understanding to every patient.

Shawna's journey at OAC began as an LPN working under Dr. Carson. After receiving a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, Shawna found strength in her own struggles and the support of Dr. Carson. Shawna recently celebrated her five years as a provider, a testament to her dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of their patients. Each day, Shawna's patients humble her, reminding her of the resilience of the human spirit.
