Did you know lasers are light medicine?
It's not woo-woo. It's physics. Let's break it down.
L.A.S.E.R. = Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Light, amplified through crystals.
Inside many lasers is a crystal — ruby, alexandrite, or Nd:YAG — each one amplifying light into a single, powerful wavelength.
The wavelength produced targets specific chromophores (color-bearing molecules):
→ 532nm → hemoglobin (blood, redness)
→ 755nm → melanin (pigment, hair)
→ 1064nm → deeper melanin
This is called selective photothermolysis. Light becomes heat — only where it's needed.
An exception: Pico lasers. They work differently. Ultra-short pulses create shockwaves. Pigment shatters instead of burning. This is photoacoustic energy.
Why this matters: Less heat = less risk. Safer for all skin tones. Less chance of hyper- or hypopigmentation.
Light medicine. A holistic approach to skin transformation.
No drugs. No surgery. Just crystals, wavelengths, and physics.
Questions? We love nerding out.
