For several weeks a woman kept coming by looking for 1 pound ankle weights with velcro. We didn't have them. Last week as I was cleaning my house, I found a pair that I had bought during the pandemic. I made a mental note to bring them in. Unfortunately, the lady came back before I was able to bring them in. I told her I found a pair at home and asked her to come back on Friday.

It was almost closing and I thought she wasn't going to show. Luckily, a few minutes before we closed she walked in. I showed her what I found. She was so very pleased. She asked what she owed me. I told her she didn't owe me anything. I didn't donate these to the Donor Closet. It was a gift from me to her.

I love it when we make our customers happy. We can't always give things away for free. We still have to pay our rent, electricity, etc. But for a used paid or ankle weights, I made somebody's day.

When durable medical and mobility equipment is no longer needed most people feel that the right thing to do is pass it along so it can help someone else. That is where MSHH comes in. We are all volunteers who accept donations of this good equipment, refurbish it and make it available to others at a very affordable “suggested minimum donation” amount. And, the money that we take in above our expenses is made available to assist those in Washington State with Multiple Sclerosis.

Our products include but are not limited to: Wheelchairs, Transport Chairs, Rollators, ROHO Cushions, Walkers, Canes and Crutches, Power Chairs, Electric Wheelchairs, Mobility Scooters and Ramps, Bedside Commodes, Shower Chairs, Shower/Tub Transfer Benches, Toilet Risers, Toilet Safety Rails, Lift Chairs, Hospital Beds, Side Rails, Hospital Bed Tables, Hoyer Lifts, Trapezes and Assist Poles, Portable Bed Assist Rails, Transfer Slide Boards, Grabbers, and Knee Scooters.
