You can love someone with your whole heart… and still feel completely drained.
A lot of people carry guilt for even admitting that.
But caregiving gets heavy for reasons no one really talks about:
👉🏻 being the one everyone relies on
👉🏻 remembering appointments, medications, schedules
👉🏻 checking in constantly and still worrying
👉🏻 putting your own needs last
👉🏻 carrying decisions that feel heavy
👉🏻 trying to hold yourself together when you’re exhausted
👉🏻 feeling like there’s no real off switch
This kind of stress often builds slowly. Quietly. Until one day you realize you’re running on fumes.
We see the daughters, sons, spouses, and loved ones doing their best every day while carrying more than most people realize.
If this is you, being tired does not mean you care less. It means you’ve been caring a lot.
If you’re caring for a parent or loved one, and it’s starting to feel like a lot, you’re not failing. You’re human. ❤️🩹🫂
