To “meet yourself”….. to acknowledge what is currently present. Then, without judging, resisting, worrying over, or trying to fix what is present, you intentionally make space and give yourself time to be with whatever you've got.

When’s the last time you confronted yourself with your limits. You “meet yourself” by doing hard things. It doesn’t have to be climbing a literal mountain… or a navy seal recruit weighing the idea of ringing the bell and walking away from BUD/s…. those are definitely “meet yourself” moments…

…. it’s staring at the alarm clock trying to decide snooze or get up, it’s deciding whether to drop set the last few reps that are getting too hard… or just don’t do them. It’s deciding whether or not it’s too wet or cold outside to walk/run.
