Today our crew stopped by the Jackson County Dispatch office with a cookie & fruit tray to help celebrate and show our appreciation for the incredible dispatchers who are the calm voice in the chaos. Thank you for everything you do to keep our crews and community safe every single day. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Update:

10:35AM The truck and trailer have been removed from the roadway and traffic is resuming normal flow. Drive safely as traffic congestion clears and responders continue working nearby.

7:17AM Traffic is being rerouted to the feeder Road from the 530 exit. Both lanes of 59NB remain closed.

US 59 NB is closed @ FM 530 due to an overturned 18-Wheeler. Be prepared for delays and detours.

No major injuries reported. Units are on-scene preparing to clear roadway. Watch for stopped or slowed traffic on 59.

📢 Holiday Closure Notice
In observance of the Easter holiday, the Jackson County Hospital District Medical Clinics will be closed on April 3rd through April 5th. 🌷🐣

🏥 Jackson County Hospital and Jackson County EMS will remain open 24/7 to provide emergency care. All departments will resume normal hours on Monday, April 6th.

Medic 51 – Off-Road Response Unit 🚑

- 6” lift
- 44” mud tires
- Capable of reaching patients during floods, hurricanes, and Ganado pothole season
- Fuel economy: don’t ask

This unit will be placed in service immediately for all priority calls and Whataburger runs.
