🦈 Shark Week Alert: Management Under Attack! 🥧💥

This just in! The waters of Kaw River turned wild when two brave leaders, Admin Steve and DON Geo, were attacked by sharks… and by “sharks,” we mean flying pies! 😱🦈

Residents & Staff cheered as management took one for the team — showing that around here, no one is safe from a little fun (and a whole lot of shaving cream)! 💙

Who got hit hardest? Who flinched first? Who laughed the most? Watch each video to find out👉📸

🦈🍽️ Shark Race: Kitchen Edition!

What do you get when you put two speedy sharks in hairnets?
A dietary smackdown for the ages! 😂

Today, the Blue Shark (DC Leah) and the Pink Shark (DA Ramiyah) took it to the floor — literally. 🦈💙🦈💖

💨 The race started strong, but about halfway through…
📉 The Pink Shark took a dive (don’t worry — no sharks were harmed in the making of this race).
Meanwhile, the Blue Shark zoomed past the finish line, spatula in fin, with victory in sight and laughter trailing behind.

🏆 Winner: Blue Shark
🩵 Spirit Award: Pink Shark, for the most dramatic performance since Sharknado.

Residents were in stitches, staff couldn’t stop laughing, and we’ve officially decided: our dietary team deserves an Emmy.

🚨 Shark Alert on the Kaw River floor! 🚨

Things got fintastic today when the Blue Shark (Admin Steve) and the Pink Shark (DON Geo) went head-to-head in the Great Shark Race Showdown! 🦈💙🦈💖

Let’s just say… the water wasn’t the only thing choppy — so were their running styles. 🏃‍♀️💨💦

💬 Residents cheered.
📣 Staff hollered.
😂 Dignity? Questionable.
🎶 Theme music? “Baby Shark” meets “Eye of the Tiger.”

Let’s just say… pinky went in hunting mode😏🐟

We whipped up a Sunday Summer Sweet Treat that was pure genius - watermelon pizza. Fresh fruit like; watermelon, kiwi, strawberries, grapes & bananas paired with vanilla yogurt as our sauce made for a surprisingly tasty combo. It was freshingly delicious 😋

Driving home we were treated to some hilarious memories about 7ELEVEN & our residents trip there back in the day.

Ofc we celebrated the 4th of July w/some REAL FOOD, A Firework Painting, & a show from our lovely Admin & his family Steve with Freeze Pops ❤️🤍💙

(REAL FOOD - Real BBQ Ribs (with the bone), Brats, Baked Beans, Pasta Salad, Cole Slaw, Deviled Eggs & Fresh Fruit Kabob) - Literally everything we asked for. Isn’t our CDM Cynthia the best ?!! 🥰

Oh my, it's almost been a month since we spilled the tea on life at Kaw River.

1st - Father’s Day, we tried to have a little car show. Ofc Dave was the Winner for all 3 awards!
( better luck next year for us ) 🚗

2nd - We enjoyed a little Flag Craft 🇺🇸

3rd - We met the lovely Bridget from Amedisys Hospice. Our residents loveeeeeeeeeeee Plinko & the education she gives.
