✨ Triangle Pose (Trikonasana) — It’s Not About Touching the Floor! ✨

One of the biggest misconceptions about Triangle Pose is that your goal is to reach as far down as possible or get your hand to the floor.

📌 Here’s the truth:
Trikonasana is about length… in the spine, in the breath, and in the side body.
If you collapse to get lower, you compress your ribs and make it harder to breathe deeply… which steals one of the most powerful benefits of the pose.

💡 Instead:
• Root down through your feet.
• Lift up through the crown of your head.
• Let the ribcage expand with every inhale, and soften the shoulders on the exhale.
• Keep space between your bottom ribs and your thigh so the breath can flow freely.

🌬 Breath Tip:
Think of your inhale as stretching your side body longer, and your exhale as anchoring you deeper into your foundation. The magic of Triangle Pose isn’t in how low you go — it’s in how freely you breathe while you’re there.

Your triangle is best when your breath is smooth, spacious, and unhurried.
