Suzanne Bettonville is a professional genealogist specializing in basic family tree-building as well as more in-depth research. A strong proponent of individualized research (and an opponent of "Armchair Genealogy," which comprises merging your online tree with other people's trees without verifying the facts), she will track down your ancestors and build your story quickly and thoroughly. We offer a couple of packages. You might like to start out with the basic family tree, and then end there, or go on to more intensive research and interpretation. How much or how little work we do is up to you. BASIC FAMILY TREE BUILDING
This is for the beginner who has a few names on his or her tree, but wants to branch out a little. We charge only per name. So if you just want to find your father's grandparents, we only charge if we find those names for you. We provide source information, but do not go into detail about it. For example, if we ascertain an ancestor from a census record, we will give that source, but will not research any further in terms of the rest of the household or any details about that person (occupation, location, place of birth). This is a great way to add names to your tree without spending a lot for extended research
COST: First two names FREE; $20 per additional names. FAMILY HISTORY BUILDING
Once you've got a sizable tree made, we offer to research the family and tell you their stories. This service includes providing sources, images of all source material, interpretation of the material, a timeline, and an annotated story when we have concluded the project. You choose which ancestral line(s) we will follow, or just give us free reign to go as far as we can! Interpretation and sources might include:

Place of birth
Parents' birthplaces
Tax records
Land purchases
Slave ownership
Wills
Photos
Military history
Medical issues
Family information including children
Marriages and divorces or widowings
Deaths in the family
Religious affiliations
