It's been an honor to meet with family members of Martha Robinson. Joanna had contacted us several months ago seeking information on her 2nd great grandmother. Martha's headstone was located completely underground! Over the last couple of months, MCGS Cemetery Committee uncovered and repaired the stone. Joanna made the trip from Chicago to meet her cousin and take a tour of Troy City Cemetery. It was such a beautiful and meaningful moment. ❤️ Don't underestimate the power of being someone's search angel. We celebrated with a lunch at Palenque and had wonderful stories to share with new connections made. ❤️ Wishing you safe travels back home.

April 12th is a day to remember courage, sacrifice, and the stories that shaped our families.

We invite you to honor your ancestors who served in times of war by sharing their stories with us. Whether it’s a brave moment on the battlefield, a letter sent home, or a quiet act of service-every story matters.

Let’s come together as a community to remember and preserve their legacy. 🇺🇸

Drop your stories (and photos, if you have them) in the comments below.
