“How does Pilates actually affect your pelvic floor… and what does posture have to do with it?” 🤍

I asked the owner of Bespoke Pilates this—and her answer connects everything.

Your pelvic floor doesn’t work in isolation.

It responds to your posture, your breathing, and how your body moves as a whole.

Which means…
If your posture is off, your core and pelvic floor may not be functioning as efficiently as they could.

That’s exactly why we created this event—To help you understand your body and actually apply it in real life.

Most people are told to “engage their core”…but no one really explains what that actually means.

So I went straight to a pelvic floor physical therapist and asked:
what’s one thing you wish everyone knew?

Her answer → it’s all connected.

Your pelvic floor doesn’t work on its own.

It works with your breath, your deep core, and your posture.

When those pieces are working together, your body can move more efficiently, feel more supported, and function the way it’s designed to.

That’s exactly why we’re creating this workshop—to help you actually understand and feel that connection (not just guess at it).

If you’ve ever:
– wondered if you’re doing core work correctly
– noticed changes after pregnancy
– or just want to feel more connected in your body

This is for you 🤍

POV: I’m charting your visit and quietly cheering you on at the same time 🤍

What I see behind the chart isn’t just numbers or notes—it’s consistency, effort, and the small daily choices that add up over time.

Progress looks different for everyone, and wellness is never a straight line. But when someone shows up for themselves, keeps building habits, and stays committed to their goals—it shows.

Even the small things—like staying consistent with a simple, supportive skincare routine (hello 👀)—play a role over time.

This is your reminder that it’s not about perfection, it’s about direction.

Just a lighthearted POV—this is not a literal representation of clinical documentation.🤣

If your rosacea isn’t improving… it might not be your skin 👀

She came in feeling discouraged—concerned with persistent redness, sensitivity, and the thought that she might just have to live with this flare long-term.

This is a 4-week progress update, not a final result.
Shared with patient permission.

But this is what can happen when your skin is finally supported in the right way 🤍

We took a step back and:
✨ Reviewed her current routine
✨ Identified and removed potential trigger products
✨ Simplified and supported her skin barrier
✨ Transitioned to a medical-grade routine focused on supporting her skin barrier and reducing irritation

✨ Introduced prescription support when appropriate

Because rosacea-prone skin often doesn’t need more—it needs intentional, gentle care that it can actually tolerate.

In many cases, irritation can be worsened by:
• Overuse of actives
• Fragrance
• Harsh exfoliation
• Too many layered products

Sometimes the most powerful shift comes from doing less—but doing it with purpose.

This is early progress, but a meaningful step toward calmer, more supported skin—and she was thrilled to start seeing that change ✨

In some cases, prescription treatments may be appropriate as part of a care plan—but this always requires an evaluation with a licensed provider to determine what’s best for you.

My goal is to help you understand why your skin is reacting the way it is—and build a plan that supports long-term skin health, not just quick fixes 🤍

If your skin feels reactive, sensitive, or stuck—there may be a more supportive approach ✨

The wins aren’t always loud… but they’re there 🤍

Using tools like the InBody 570, we can look at trends in muscle mass, body fat, and overall body composition over time.

This information may help guide personalized, data-informed recommendations—rather than relying on the scale alone.

It’s not about perfection or quick fixes—it’s about consistent habits and long-term progress.

Progress may include:
✨ Supporting lean muscle development
✨ Supporting fat loss efforts
✨ Improving overall wellness markers

And sometimes… progress looks like things you don’t see on the scale:
✔️ More energy throughout the day
✔️ Strength increasing in your workouts
✔️ Clothes fitting differently
✔️ Better recovery and sleep
✔️ Feeling more confident in your routine

And sometimes… it’s just showing up again the next week 🙌

Results and progress will vary based on the individual.

If you’re ready for a more personalized, data-informed approach to your wellness goals, I’d love to help 🤍

Simple doesn’t mean ineffective 🤍

One small habit I often talk about with clients:
drinking water before meals

Something as simple as ~2 cups (about 500 mL) of water before eating may help support satiety and overall intake—especially when paired with balanced meals and consistent habits.

Here’s why it can be helpful:
✨ May help you feel fuller sooner
✨ May support more mindful portions
✨ Can be a simple addition to a sustainable routine

💡 A gentle way to try it:
• Drink water ~20–30 minutes before meals
• Stay consistent, not perfect
• Pair it with balanced, protein-forward meals

Because sustainable progress isn’t about extremes—it’s about small habits that add up over time 🙃

If you’re working toward improving your nutrition, body composition, or overall wellness, I’m here to help guide you 🤍
