Good advice for everyone!
Being able to manage your time effectively is an important asset to have in college and as a life skill. It can help you be more productive, energetic, and motivated throughout the day.
Here are our best tips on how to balance your time:
🕰️ Set achievable goals in a timely manner (every week, quarter, semester, year).
🕰️ If you're a list person, organize tasks in order of importance.
🕰️ Reward yourself after completing a task by crossing off an item on the list, getting a treat, etc.
🕰️ Limit distractions by creating a productive environment. Limit phone usage, excess noise, people, etc.
🕰️ Take breaks when necessary. This can include walking, grabbing a snack, or taking a power nap.
🕰️ Balance your schedule/ weekly tasks. Avoid overloading on one day.
🕰️ Be flexible if you need to adjust your schedule.
When making a list, try using the A-B-C method.
✍️ A = things that have to get done
✍️ B = things that need to get done
✍️ C = things you want to get done
