Thank you to the dedicated staff at Brookstone Estates of Effingham, for making it to work with all this snow, some areas in excess of 10” of snow! Whether you stayed in one of the hotel rooms reserved for you by management or you stayed over from your shift; we thank you! Brookstone is a business at requires staffing 24 hours a day seven days a week to meet the needs of those that live there so again we thank you for being part of our amazing Brookstone team!

Thank you to The City of Effingham Mayor Crystal Mike Schutzbach for stopping past Brookstone Estates of Effingham today and sharing with us updates on the City. Learning that there is no more property taxes for those that live in the city limits(effective Jan 01, 2026), updates on new streets, relocation of the new China Buffet, progress on the mall, happenings of the Downtown Heart Theatre and all the great things happening in our city! Individuals had some great questions and a were very engaged with our Mayor! Thank you and please stop in again!
