To celebrate the Effingham Surgery Center’s 30 years of service, the center hosted an Effingham Chamber Business After Hours event in their recovery room. In December, Sarah Bush Lincoln acquired the remaining membership shares from the physician owners of the Effingham Surgery Center, establishing SBL as the center’s primary owner. It was an evening filled with laughter, family connections and heartfelt recognition of the staff’s unwavering dedication over the past three decades.
Nash Naam, MD, founding surgeon, shared his thoughts: "When we launched the Effingham Ambulatory Surgery Center, our patient satisfaction was already in the 98th percentile. Some might consider this an excellent achievement, but we didn’t stop there. We set our sights on the 100th percentile, determined to continuously improve and provide the best care for our patients."
Looking ahead, we’re excited for the next 30 years of growth and excellence at the SBL Effingham Surgery Center.
