When it comes to your health, every minute counts! At the Eielson Medical Group, we’re committed to providing timely, high-quality care to all our patients. To help us serve the community better, here are a few important reminders about late arrivals and no-shows:

✅ No-Shows Impact Everyone: Missing an appointment without notice reduces access to care for other patients and leads to longer wait times.

✅ Arriving Late Affects Your Care: Being late can shorten the time your provider has to spend with you and delay care for patients scheduled after you.

✅ Plan Ahead: Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for check-in and to help appointments flow smoothly.

✅ Need to Reschedule? If you anticipate being late or unable to keep your appointment, please contact the appointment line at (907) 377-1847 as soon as possible. This allows our staff time to adjust and accommodate other patients in need of care.

Greetings Eielson Air Force Base!

The Walk-In Contraceptive Clinic is now open every Friday starting on October 3 from 0800-1030.

All active duty members and those with Tricare Prime are eligible to receive same-day contraceptive care (this includes basic counseling, IUDs, implants, pills, patches, rings, shots, emergency contraception, and vasectomy consults).

No appointment required, first come-first served!

📢 The Breast Cancer Detection Center (BCDC) Bus has arrived!

All members with scheduled appointments for mammograms on 17 September, please come to the 354 MDG Clinic parking lot at your appointed time and check in at the BIG PINK BUS on the south side of the building.

Due to overwhelming interest, the mammography team will be unable to see walk-in appointments and will only be able to accommodate those with scheduled appointments.

If you were unable to take advantage of this opportunity and would like to make a future appointment for breast cancer screening, please call the clinic appointment line at 907-377-1847.
