Great tips if you have lost or found a dog! This is the unfortunate aftermath of the 4th of July festivities for some families and their fur babies.

The days after July Fourth are always especially busy at San Diego Humane Society. Unfortunately, many stray pets have already arrived at our shelters (including those pictured here), and our teams are working to get them back to their families as quickly as possible. Our hours are extended today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for all services, including intake and reunification. As a reminder, we're waiving reclaim fees for stray pets through July 8. Please share this information to help pet families know where to look for their missing pets!
