This week we welcomed the Imperial High School Tigers to ECRMC for a Patient Care II class experience!

Our clinical staff shared their knowledge and provided students with an inside look at Radiology, Oncology, Emergency, Lab, Medical-Surgical, ICU, and many more departments throughout the hospital.

Students learned about patient communication, vital signs, safety practices, teamwork in healthcare, and the importance of compassion in every interaction. They also had the chance to see how different departments work together to support patient care from start to finish.

We are grateful to our dedicated staff for taking the time to teach, inspire, and guide our future healthcare professionals!

It's a big job to keep a hospital cool in the Imperial Valley, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Kudos to these four HVAC experts from our Plant Maintenance Department. They kept ECRMC air-conditioned all summer!

In the hospital, maintaining proper humidity levels is also a significant part of their job. Did you know? We will not allow a surgery to begin if the humidity is too high or too low in the OR.

This team had it dialed in all summer long. Kudos! Now that it's cooling off, we'd like to take a moment to say thank you.
