Here's what you need to know about my approach to Clinical Nutrition.

I work with the WHOLE PERSON. That means Mental, Emotional, Physical, Spiritual, Financial, Energetic, and Psychic. All of it.

And here's the thing: I'm going to target YOUR bio-individuality around food and lifestyle. Because what works for you? Might not be the magic formula for the next person.

You might be dealing with a Spiritual/Emotional issue while someone else is working on a Physical/Mental one. Your cape might be purple and theirs might be orange. (Yes, I just said that. Stay with me.)

Once you get this? You're on your way to Empowerment.

You'll start expressing your Highest Potential while maintaining yourself throughout the rest of your life on this planet in your skin sack.

Make sense?

Look, everyone is different. I'm not here to give you a cookie-cutter plan that worked for someone else. I'm here to help you identify YOUR superpowers and work with what makes YOU tick.

If you're ready to optimize your health and reach your highest potential, let's work together. Contact me to schedule a session and start your journey.

Happy World Baking Day! πŸŽ‚

Real talk: I used to be obsessed with bakeries. Like, dangerously obsessed. Bread, cakes, scones, Belgian waffles, brownies, cinnamon rolls, cookies... I could keep going but you get it.

Then I found out I needed to go gluten-free, wheat-free, and dairy-free if I wanted to, you know, actually feel good. Total buzzkill for my bakery addiction.

So naturally, I did what any reasonable person would do: I opened my own gluten-free bakery.

Azna Gluten Free was my baby up in Cameron Park, California. My products made it into Whole Foods' top 10 favorite items three years running. Not gonna lie, I'm still pretty proud of that.

Here's the thing about my baking: it's part science, part intuition, part art, and a whole lot of love. When you really want something, you figure it out. You get creative. You don't just give up because someone said you can't have it anymore.

That's kind of my whole approach to life, actually.

Want to learn how to get creative with what life hands you? I've got space for new clients. Drop me a DM or head to my bio to schedule a session. Let's figure out what you're really hungry for.

Ever feel like your body's just... off? Like you're tired all the time, or your brain's stuck in overdrive?

Could be copper.

I know, sounds random. But copper does so much in your body. It helps you absorb iron, keeps your thyroid happy, carries oxygen to your tissues, and even helps make red blood cells. It's involved in hormone production, brain function, and those feel-good neurotransmitters like dopamine.

Pretty important stuff.

But here's the thing: balance matters. A lot.

When copper's too low, you might deal with anemia, skin issues, low HDL cholesterol, or even depression. Your cells literally can't get enough oxygen. Not fun.

When it's too high? That's where things get messy. Headaches, hypoglycemia, racing heart, nausea, hair loss. High copper can also mess with your zinc levels (which throws off protein digestion), and it's linked to hyperactivity, learning issues, and even mood disorders like anxiety, insomnia, and depression.

And get this: copper levels can spike from things like birth control, hormone-treated meat, certain meds, smoking, or even your tap water. If you're low in zinc or manganese, copper can build up even faster.

Your body's a chemistry lab. When one thing's off, everything else feels it.

I've seen so many people struggling with symptoms they can't explain, and copper imbalance is often part of the puzzle. The good news? Once we figure out what's going on, we can actually do something about it.

If any of this sounds familiar, let's talk. I'd love to help you figure out what your body actually needs so you can feel like yourself again. β†’ InspiredLivingFolsom.com

If you're still riding the diet roller coaster and somehow getting heavier every time you "fall off," maybe it's time to admit the wagon is broken.

Here's the thing about diets: they work. Until they don't. And then you're right back where you started, except now you're also exhausted and feel like a failure (which you're not, by the way).

The real issue? You're using someone else's blueprint for YOUR body.

What if instead of following the latest protocol, you figured out your actual food bio individuality? Like, what works specifically for you, your schedule, your energy, your life.

Once you nail that part, the weight loss strategy becomes so much simpler. You apply it, lose the weight, and then you get to move on with your actual life instead of thinking about food 24/7.

I know it sounds almost too simple. But honestly, how much longer do you want to spend doing something that clearly isn't working?

You get to choose what you do next. Just make sure it's actually serving you.

Ready to figure out YOUR lifestyle hack instead of borrowing someone else's? Let's schedule a session and get you off the hamster wheel for good.

Okay real talk: most of us are working way too hard to lose weight.

We're cutting calories, skipping meals, doing cardboard diets that make us miserable. And then we wonder why the scale won't budge.

Here's what actually works (and what I wish someone had told me years ago): you need to stop fighting your body and start working with it.

That means identifying the inflammatory foods that are basically sabotaging your metabolism. Once you eliminate those? Your body can finally do what it's designed to do, which is burn fat for fuel.

I learned this the hard way. Spent way too much time googling and guessing and trying random things that didn't work. You don't have to do that.

I can show you exactly which foods are keeping you stuck and how to reset your system so weight loss actually feels natural. Not easy, but natural. There's a difference.

If you're tired of spinning your wheels, let's talk. I'll help you figure out what's been holding you back and give you a clear path forward.

Happy Mother's Day to every single one of you beautiful moms out there. πŸ’ž

The dog moms, the adopted moms, the mothers in law, the two moms, and especially the moms who have endured the loss of a child or pet. And what about all the women who are hoping to become moms? You all deserve to live life inspired, whether that's to heal, to conceive, or just to celebrate.

Here's what I've learned: being inspired isn't just some fluffy feeling. It means you can take the right action and create something extraordinary (like, you know, another human).

Nutrition is huge for everything mom related. I'm talking conception, pregnancy viability, calming your nerves, postpartum recovery, working through grief or depression. Getting women through the rough patches of pre-pregnancy and pregnancy is actually one of my specialties. But it's not always about fixing problems. Sometimes it's just about showing Mom some love.

Being a mom can be the greatest joy of your life. That first time you meet that sweet face? Precious. Then comes the sleepless nights, the worry, the saggy b***s, the stretched out tummy. Fast forward a few years and you've got sassy back talking messy little people making your life absolutely chaotic.

But here's the thing: when Mom is feeling the love, everyone's happier. Trust me on this. We do everything all the time. We're on duty 24/7. Yes, we're strong and built for it, but not without a little pampering for ourselves.

Wherever you're at in your motherhood journey, you need some care. Let me help you find your happy place with Inspired Living.

I love what I do. Like, really love it.

But some days? They stretch on forever. You know the ones. Where you're moving from one thing to the next, and by the time you look up, you're just... tired.

So here's what I do: I give myself something to look forward to.

For me, that's my quiet evenings at home with my husband and our fur babies. That's non-negotiable. But I also make time for friends, Pilates, massage, chiropractic appointments, barn time with Eyrie (hello, horse therapy), and really good food.

Because here's the thing: momentum doesn't come from pushing through endlessly. It comes from knowing there's something waiting for you on the other side of the hard work.

What about you? What do you look forward to when the day feels too long?

I'd genuinely love to know. Drop it in the comments.

And if you're struggling to build that balance into your days, let's talk. Schedule a session and we'll figure out what works for your life.

Hey, let's talk about the stuff nobody really wants to admit they're dealing with.

Trauma. Self-sabotage. That voice in your head that says you're not good enough, or that money is scary, or that love isn't meant for you.

I work with people who are tired of those patterns running the show. And here's the thing: you don't have to figure it all out alone.

In our sessions, we start by finding where you're actually stuck. Not surface level stuff. The real block. The thing you keep bumping into but can't quite name.

Then we get into the good part. The clearing. The healing. The moment you realize you've been carrying something that was never yours to carry in the first place.

It's not therapy. It's not coaching in the traditional sense. It's me helping you see what's been in your blind spot, and then walking with you as you start to shift it.

I've seen people go from feeling completely stuck to finally understanding why they keep repeating the same story. And then? They write a new one.

If this resonates, I'd love to work with you. You can book a session with me and we'll start wherever you are. No judgment. Just real support.

Questions? Send them my way. I'm here.

Living with celiac disease doesn't mean I skip Cinco de Mayo. It just means I plan a little.

I still go out. I still celebrate. I just do it differently.

Here's what works for me: I know which restaurants are safe before I go. I bring my own tortilla chips (trust me, nobody cares). And instead of a sugary margarita that might have mystery ingredients, I go for a shot of good aged tequila. Clean, simple, no guessing.

You don't have to miss out on the fun parts of life just because you're eating clean. You just have to think ahead a bit.

So yeah, I'll be out there celebrating. Guilt-free. Happy. Healthy.

May is basically giving us permission to hit refresh on our well-being. Mental Health Awareness Month, Mother's Day, Memorial Day... it's like the universe is reminding us to check in with ourselves.

Here's what I'm thinking about this month:

🧠 For your brain: Ginkgo Forte and Bacopa Complex are game changers for mental clarity. Like, actual science-backed herbs that help with focus and memory. Not magic, just really good plant medicine.

🩷 For the moms: (hi, it's me) Self-care doesn't have to be a spa day. Sometimes it's just chamomile tea and five minutes of breathing. Or a yoga class where nobody asks you for snacks. Journaling helps too. Even if it's messy.

πŸ” For the BBQs: You can absolutely grill healthy food that doesn't taste like cardboard. Lemon herb chicken skewers? Grilled veggies with balsamic? A steak without the bun and cheese? Yes to all of it.

I know it sounds like a lot. But honestly, picking even one thing from this list and doing it consistently makes a difference. Your body (and brain) will thank you.

Want personalized recommendations that actually fit your life? Book a session with me. We'll figure out what works for YOU, not some cookie-cutter plan.

May 1st brings us two powerful symbols of renewal: the Emerald and Beltane.

The Emerald isn't just May's birthstone. It's been used for centuries to promote clarity and balance. When you're feeling scattered or stuck in your wellness journey, this green gem reminds you to come back to center.

And then there's Beltane, the ancient festival that marks summer's beginning. It's all about growth, vitality, and stepping into the season with intention. (Honestly, I love how these old traditions still feel so relevant to our modern lives.)

May is the perfect time to renew your commitment to yourself. Not in that "new year, new me" way that fizzles out by February. More like a gentle reset. A chance to nourish your body, quiet your mind, and tap into that ancient energy that says yes, growth is possible.

Your wellness journey doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it just needs a little support and the right guidance to keep you moving forward.

Ready to start? I'm opening up my calendar for new sessions. Link in bio to schedule yours. πŸ’š
