The Cedar County Health Department is grateful for the generous donation from the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) Iron Chariots for Christ Chapter!

Thanks to their kindness, we’re able to provide free diapers to local families while supplies last. Stop by the Cedar County Health Department during regular business hours to pick up a package.

💙 A heartfelt thank you to CMA and the Iron Chariots for Christ for their continued support of our community and families!

Starting November 7, 2025, the Missouri State Public Health Laboratory (MSPHL) will no longer accept water samples or other specimens requiring state courier transport on Fridays at most locations. This change is due to adjustments in federal funding and rising service costs.

Courier pick-ups Monday through Thursday will continue as usual. If you need Friday drop-off options, please use the MSPHL courier location map to find alternative locations: https://health.mo.gov/lab/courierservices.php

We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain these essential public health services.

Hillshire Brands is recalling about 58 million pounds of corn dog and sausage products (EST-582 or P-894) due to possible pieces of wood in the batter. Products were sold online, in stores, schools, and some institutions nationwide. The Hillshire Brands Company conducted an investigation and determined that the wooden sticks entered the production process prior to product battering.

📅 Packaged: March 17 – September 26, 2025
