As the winter storm approaches, Courtyard Rehabilitation and Health wants to reassure our families and community that we are fully prepared to continue providing safe, attentive, and compassionate care.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our cherished resident, Jackie Helms. Jackie was a truly kind and loving soul who cared deeply for everyone around her. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and loving heart left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

During her time at Courtyard Rehab and Health, Jackie and her family became our family. The bonds we formed, the laughter we shared, and the love she so freely gave will forever be held close in our hearts.

As Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) We take comfort in knowing Jackie is now at peace and surrounded by God’s eternal love.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to Jackie’s family and loved ones. She will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever a part of the Courtyard family.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ms. Pecola Copeland, a cherished resident of Courtyard. Ms. Copeland was more than a resident to us—she was family. Her presence, kind smile and spirit touched the lives of staff and residents, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was always quick to greet you with a smile that made you feel loved.

Ms. Copeland was surrounded by compassion, dignity, and respect during her time with us, and she will always hold a special place in the heart of our home. We are grateful for having the chance to know Pecola & her family 💜

On behalf of the Courtyard family, we extend our deepest condolences to Ms. Copeland’s loved ones during this time of loss. She will be fondly remembered & missed ❣️

We started Martin Luther King Day off with a little brunch and a documentary on Dr.King👑and it’s Monday so of course bingo was on our list of things to do today🤪🤪 and as ALWAYS, thanks to the cook (Charity) and the rest of our helping hands this morning❤️❤️❤️

🌟 Employee Spotlight 🌟
We would like everyone to meet Cassie Rosegrant, RN. Cassie joined our team as the full time wound care nurse a couple months ago! 🩹 ❤️

Cassie attended SouthArk Community College graduated with her LPN in May 2017 & RN in Dec 2018. She has been in the Healthcare industry since 2014 and has a span of experience she brings to the facility. We can proudly say Cassie has worked her way from CNA, LPN, to RN.

Cassie has worked in long term care for 7 years, has worked in cardiology and a surgery center where she was apart of a pre/post op recovery unit.

Cassie says : “Treatments can be very rewarding seeing them improve in front of your eyes but also challenging when a treatment course isn't responding how you'd like. I've been fortunate to have excellent providers/reps at my access to help our patients and their wounds.”

Outside of work Cassie and her husband, Richard, started their own business April 2025 that keeps them very busy!

“We have 1 dog, Lola and 2 cats Biscuit & Bandit They're our furbabies. I'm a huge animal lover from dogs & cats to goats & highland cows! We enjoy everything Arkansas Razorbacks from football to basketball to volleyball. We enjoy going to concerts in our spare time as well and dirt track racing. Can't forget about the beach trips and ocean! If I havent already met you, I look forward to meeting you and taking care of you & your loved ones at Courtyard!”

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our cherished residents, Robert Lowery. 💙
Robert was truly loved by everyone at Courtyard Rehab and Health. His kindness, gentle spirit, and warm presence touched the lives of residents and staff alike. He had a way of making those around him feel seen and appreciated, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.

We are grateful for the time we were able to share with Robert and for the joy he brought into our community. Please keep his family, friends, and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Robert. You will be deeply missed. 🕊️
