Congratulations Mike and Susan for earning the UAMS IDHI Stroke Champion-Silver Club Award. Both Mike and Susan are registered nurses in the emergency department and were recognized by the UAMS stroke program for their timely and exceptional care they provided to their stroke patient. The team conquered a door to needle time of 41 minutes.

Happy National Radiological Technology Week!

This week long celebration occurs during the week of Nov. 8 to mark the anniversary of Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen's discovery of the x-ray on Nov. 8, 1895.

Rad Tech week is an annual opportunity to recognize and honor the vital work of medical imaging and radiologic technologists in health care. From X-rays and MRIs to CT scans and ultrasounds, these dedicated professionals play an essential role in patient diagnosis, treatment, and care. This week is a time for us to acknowledge their impact on healthcare and thank them for their continued dedication.
