El Dorado School Based Health Center These materials were developed with funds allocated by the Arkansas Department of Education through Act 180 of 2009 Tobacco Excise Tax.

The students and staff of El Dorado Public Schools will have quality, integrated school health services that improve health status, increase academic achievement and enhance their over all well-being.

The Wildcat Wellness Center staff wishes you a holiday season filled with peace, hope, and love! The Wildcat Wellness Center will be closed for Christmas Break from December 22, 2025, through January 2, 2026, and will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026. Please note the office will close early on Friday, December 19, so call ahead for any needed appointments or medication refills. Thank you for trusting our school-based clinic with your healthcare needs!

Food Pantry Needs: Breakfast foods, snacks (applesauce, pudding, canned fruit, etc.), lunch and dinner foods (ramen, mac & cheese, soup, ravioli, etc.)

Wildcat Resource Center Needs: Kids’ coats of all sizes

Thank you for supporting students and families in our community!

📚 Back to School – We’re Here for You

As kids head back to school today, we know they may face challenges that go beyond homework and grades. Mental health struggles can impact focus, learning, and well-being—and we’re here to help. 💙

School-Based Services (SBS) make it easier for students to get the support they need, right where they are. Our counselors visit local schools—including Northwest, Yocum Elementary, Yocum Primary, Barton, Washington, Smackover and Norphlet—to meet with students in a familiar setting.

✨ How it works:

New clients: When opening a chart, simply let our front desk know you want School-Based Services and which school your child attends. We’ll connect them with the Mental Health Professional (MHP) assigned to that school when possible.

Current clients: Families can request to transfer to SBS if their child is moving schools or advancing grades—ensuring consistent support.

We believe every child deserves the tools to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. If you think your child could benefit from SBS, give us a call today.
